Three Arrested After Child Porn, Firearms Found During Raid In Area

The execution of a search warrant for an area man’s residence for child pornography led to his apprehension and the arrest of two others who were found to be in possession of illegal weapons, New York State Police said.

An investigation by New York State Police Computer Crimes Unit and Poughkeepsie Bureau of Criminal Investigation led to the issuance of a search warrant by the Dutchess County Court for Sean Elmendorf’s residence in the City of Poughkeepsie.

According to police, the investigation found that Elmendorf was in possession of child pornography, and two others, Marlene Elmendorf, 64, and Ibn Lane, both of Poughkeepsie, were illegally in possession of firearms. All three were arrested at the scene.

Sean Elmendorf, 27, was charged with possession of a sexual performance by a child, a felony, and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $7,500 cash bail or $15,000 bond. Lane and Marlene Elmendorf were charged with criminal possession of a firearm, a felony. 

They were issued appearance tickets and all three are scheduled to appear in court on Monday, June 10.
